Nigerian music star Paul Okoye, popularly known as Rudeboy, has reacted strongly after a social media user accused him of inappropriate conduct involving a domestic worker.
The allegations surfaced on X (formerly Twitter), where a user claimed that the singer had engaged in misconduct. The post quickly went viral, drawing mixed reactions online.
In response, Rudeboy vowed to take legal steps against the individual behind the accusations. In a statement posted on his social media pages, the singer said he would use “necessary means, power, resources, and money” to find the user, describing the accusations as defamatory.
He further declared that the accuser would be made an example, saying:
I will use you as a scapegoat.
Following the backlash, reports indicate that the X user deactivated their account. Social media users have continued to debate the issue, with some urging Rudeboy to proceed with legal action while others called for restraint.
As of now, there has been no official confirmation from law enforcement regarding the allegations, and no evidence has been provided publicly to support the claims.
Rudeboy, who rose to fame as part of the award-winning duo P-Square, maintains that the allegations are false and damaging to his reputation.
